My husband, Kevin, and I are high school sweethearts.
We were planning the most beautiful day. A downtown ceremony on our city’s beautiful square. It was the wedding of my dreams, and just weeks before it all came tumbling down. Our planner had let us down tremendously and we were left with absolutely nothing. I had 5 weeks and an empty checking account to throw together what was supposed to be the biggest day of our lives. I didn’t have a professional wedding photographer to capture my wedding day, and it’s one of the biggest regrets of my life. As we were getting ready to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary my husband agreed to a vow renewal and FINALLY, I have absolutely beautiful photos of my own wedding.
It’s a feeling I will never forget and no one should have to wait 10 years to have beautiful wedding photos.
We got married in 2007 and we are now proud parents of three wonderful children. As a mother and Army wife life has blessed me with some of the most incredible defining adventures life has to offer. And I understand how time can pass without warning and you’ve missed it. As years go by the sentiments you feel in a moment fade, leaving you with distant reminiscences.
