Rachael & Brian – Wedding – El Paso, Texas

There’s always something about heading into the big city that makes me giddy!

Maybe it’s the fact that I grew up in a small town and always get excited to see the skyscape, or the fact that cities are always buzzing with energy. When I met with Rachael and Brian and they told me of their plans to marry overlooking our beautiful Downtown El Paso I knew it was going to be stunning!

The ceremony took place at Tom Lea Upper Park and the reception was at Castle Ballroom, which made for some really spectacular shots. They took their Mexican heritage to heart and their theme for the day was a Traditional Mexican Wedding. It all came down to the details in the cake, and décor and of course Mexican candy!

Rachael had a bit of advice for brides and grooms planning their big day!

“You both need to be excited planning your wedding! This is one moment you will remember for the rest of your lives. Small or huge wedding, it doesn’t matter, what matters is that you are both so in love with each other that you are making the decision to devote the rest of your lives to each other”. I happen to think that is incredible advice.

When I asked Rachael if the day turned out how she had always imagined she said “Unlike anything we both imagined. We were in awe of everything. Our wedding was full of so much love and support from everyone. It was beautiful, magical, and unforgettable just like it should be.” Awe! It really was a wonderful and joyful event. I love the traditional theme, the venues, the details, the party – and I especially love this couple! Congrats, lovebirds!
