They call it puppy love…
Samantha and Jon were absolutely adorable during their engagement session out in the beautiful Franklin Mountains. I met them and their sweet Australian Shepherd, Cersei, on a beautiful April afternoon just at the end of Poppy Season. Jon is proudly serving our country and Samantha is a Registered nurse! They are here in El Paso while he is stationed at Fort Bliss and are getting married soon! The trio were super fun to work with and had a new experience of photographing a dog that could not hear my silly whistles, meows and woofs! She is actually deaf, which made getting her attention very fun and interesting lol! In all seriousness though their session couldn’t have gone any better. Check out their session portraits below!
Aren’t they adorable?! We also took some of their most favorite images and created a beautiful Engagement Guestbook Album! With a Guestbook Album your family and friends can look through the beautiful images we took at your engagement session and put them into a signing book for leaving well wishes and marriage advice! It’s really fun!
Poppy Season at the Franklin Mountains lasts from Mid-March to April. The annual Poppy Festival occurs the first weekend of April every year. You can find more information on the Poppy Festival and its conservation here at the El Paso Museum of Archaeology. Also, follow the event on Facebook HERE.
